London's Olympics Trail
1000 days to go
Visit all three London Olympics sites in the same day. No other city of earth can offer you this experience. Only London has hosted the Games three times - 1908, 1948 and 2012. On each of those occasions the world has been at a crossroads. In 1908 events in the White City Stadium put the re-founded Olympics on the world map. In 1948 the 'Austerity Olympics' at Wembley helped the world awaken from the
horror of the Second World War. And 2012 Stratford will introduce the future - the Sustainability Olympics.
When: Saturday 31st October
Where: Meet outside White City Central Line tube station.
(relax, 'London's Olympics Trail' does include tube travel!). Please bring an oyster card or zones 1 - 4 Travel Card.
When: 10.00am.
Cost: £15 a head (£8 concs). Cash only.
