This is the final Christmas you can witness history in the making as London prepares for the 2012 Games.
When: 11.00 on Sunday 25 December.
Where: outside Bromley-by-Bow tube station.
Cost: £9 Adults, £6 children (U16), students (with student ID card), and seniors.
Payment: on the day, in cash, directly to our guide.
To book: Booking is preferable so we have an idea of numbers.
To reserve a place on the walk please book online.
Alternatively you can just turn up on the day.
A bunch of intrepid walkers will be joining Martin Harvey, Blue Badge Tourist Guide, who’ll entertain them with information on the London Games as they walk to the Olympic Park site.
Walkers will be rewarded with mince pies and a glass of fizz to toast the success of the Games when they reach the viewpoint. A last opportunity for a Christmas Day photo with the backdrop of the Olympic stadium before it welcomes the world to the Olympic and Paraympic Games.
Children, dogs and grandparents are especially welcome on the Walk!
Please note there will be no public transport on Christmas Day - drive, walk, run or cycle to the meeting point.
