"If we were all to follow the example of Blue Badge Tourist Guides, with their enthusiasm and knowledge, we would be taking the right steps in welcoming visitors to the London Olympics." Margaret Hodge MP Minister for Culture, Creative Industries and Tourism (April 2008) |

WOW! What a lovely day you gave us. I have not known the children so enthusiastic for a very long while. The talk was pitched at just the right level and the follow up work that we've been doing really bears that out. They have retained so much information. As a staff, we were pretty impressed too! And weren't we lucky with the weather? All in all, a super day out thank you. Is it possible to have an address to forward our thank you letters to? Thank you again. Kindest Regards Maureen, teacher, Maundene School, Chatham |

Dear Tour Guides Ltd Our tour of Docklands and the Olympic site on Wednesday was excellent; please pass on our sincerest thanks to our guide. She was extremely informative and pitched her delivery at exactly the right level for our audience. We'd give her an unqualified recommendation to anyone wanting to do a similar trip and will undoubtedly ask to use her services again next year. Kind regards, Tony Cutting |

Dear Sir/Madam I wanted to drop you a short note to express my thanks for the wonderful day we had yesterday on our tour of the Olympic Sites. Without exception everyone in our party had a great day. None of this would have happened had it not been for your tour guide, in particular:- · She arrived on time, always a good start and had made sure the coach was present and nearby. · Our lunch had been well organised and we returned to Paddington Station exactly on time. However, the success of the day was really down to the way our guide conducted the tour. Her knowledge was phenomenal, she conveyed it to us in an engaging and on occasions light-hearted way, and made the day the success it was. I can’t speak highly enough of her. "Re. our tour ……. We all found it informative and enjoyable. Our Guide gave us plenty of food for thought, pointing out some of the issues arising from London’s staging of the 2012 Olympic Games as well as the glossy P.R. picture. We will definitely be looking at following up on the tour – maybe next year to how the site is developing." Phil Clements, Senior Lecturer, Leeds Metropolitan University |

"I have booked the London Olympic tour on Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th January 2009. I would also like to add - the Guide who took us on the tour on Monday 1st December was fantastic. The day was extremely enjoyable and the tour was eye-opening for our students whose feedback was all positive. The sites chosen by the Guide were perfect and alongside the Olympics information the history of some of the sites we passed and visited was an added bonus. May I highly recommend your Guide for future tours. Thanks" Samuel Whitbread Community College |

"I get the firm impression that the corporate conference groups are increasingly using Docklands as a preferred venue and that with our insights into urban regeneration, Blue Badge Tourist Guides are well qualified to guide corporate clients....this has been my experience with the Russian and Japanese business visitors. Many of my clients seem interested in Docklands property and the likely beneficial effects of 2012" Rob Williamson, lecturer & Docklands expert |

I had the pleasure of doing the Olympic Walk last Sunday, 14 November. The weather and London Transport conspired together to make difficulties but I managed to get to Bromley By Bow and meet the guide and the other 8 walkers. We had the most interesting morning ending up in the newly opened cafe in the view Tube. This was the first guided walk I have done and am now anxious to do many more. Thankyou. Linda Dolan |
