Join a Guided Park Walk to discover Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Learn how the area was transformed to host the Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2012, and what the future holds.
Stroll past beautiful gardens, playgrounds, waterways and iconic sports venues, such as the London Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre, the Copperbox Arena and the Lee Valley Velodrome.
Blue Badge Tourist Guides have worked on the project since 2008 and can offer personal insight into how this former industrial area has been transformed, creating a legacy and opportunities for both locals and visitors.
Depending on events taking place, you may be able to enter the Velodrome. Your guide will let you know on the day.

Combine a Guided Park Walk with views of London and the Park from two observation platforms, flip the horizon in Anish Kapoor’s famous concave mirrors, interpret the view with innovative touchscreens and immerse yourself in the sounds of the city as you descend the 455 stairs. You can take the lift down if you prefer, or check to see if there are tickets available to ride the slide.

In addition to your Guided Park Walk, enjoy a multimedia tour that allows you to experience the unique atmosphere of the London Stadium. You might be a West Ham United fan, eager to see where medals were won and athletes warmed up during the Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2012 or interested in how a concert is staged.
You can watch footage of matches, races and concerts, walk through the dressing rooms, practice your sprint start and hear the crowds as you walk pitchside through the players tunnel.

On arrival at Stratford station please take the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park / Westfield Stratford City’ exit, go through the ticket barriers and you will see EAT coffee and sandwich bar straight ahead of you.
