Our team of London Blue Badge Tourist Guides have followed the project closely since the announcement in 2005 that London had won the bid to host the Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2012. We guided on-site bus tours for the Olympic Delivery Authority during the preparation and construction years, worked for the London Organising Committee, sponsors and other organisations during the Games. Some were involved as volunteer Games Makers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Since 2012 we have worked closely with the London Legacy Development Corporation, the organization behind Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, formed to use the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop a dynamic new heart for East London.
We have arranged tours for organisations form other host cities such as Tokyo 2020 or cities looking to bid for future Olympic & Paralympic Games. We’ve also enjoyed guiding several firms of architects, urban planners and engineers, a regeneration consortium, Dutch town mayors and Korean diplomats, to mention just a few.
We can arrange tours:
- to meet you at your preferred start point, travel with your clients by car, minibus, coach or on foot.
- in several languages.
- fit into your schedule and the time available
- include other areas of London to complete your visit
to provide up to date knowledge on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
“First of all I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the rest of the group for such an extraordinary tour. Everyone agrees that it was extremely interesting, dynamic and well organised.
Unfortunately I was not able to follow the tour, but I got many complementary comments regarding the guides, their knowledge and the passion both showed every single minute.
We will recommend you guys in every possible way. It has been without any doubt an unforgettable experience.”Rocio Anos
