Does the Guided Park Walk go inside Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park?
Yes. The Park Walk take you through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

How do I get to the meeting point?
From 1 February 2017 the meeting point is EAT coffee shop Westfield Stratford City.
You will find EAT at the exit to Stratford station. When arriving at Stratford station (Jubilee & Central Lines, DLR, Overground trains), please take the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park / Westfield exit, once through the ticket barriers you will see EAT straight ahead of you. Your Blue Badge Tourist Guide will meet you in front of EAT.

Can I pay by credit card?
No, payment for the Park Walk is by cash on the day.

Are there any toilets and refreshments on the walk?
Yes, we advise that you arrive in good time, you can use the toilets in Westfield shopping centre before the Park Walk. There are plenty of coffee shops too. The Park Walk finishes at The Podium cafe in the Park where you can get refreshments and use the toilets.

What happens if I am late for the Park Walk?
If you make your way through the Westfield shopping centre to Stratford International Station and the Lee Valley Velodrome you maybe able to catchup with the group in the first 30 minutes of the tour. Please look for the Blue Badge Tourist Guide logo.

What happens if there are engineering works on the underground or train lines?
It is your responsibility to check for engineering works on the Underground. Please check www.tfl.gov.uk and DLR as you may need to allow extra time for your journey.

What do we see on the Park Walk?
The East Village, the Lee Valley VeloPark, Copperbox Arena, The London Stadium, ArcelorMittal Orbit, London Aquatics Centre, parklands, gardens and recreation areas. The exact route may change at times depending on events taking place in the Park.

Do we enter the London Stadium or any of the sports venues?
Depending on events taking place it maybe possible to enter a venue such as the Lee Valley Velodrome, your guide will be able to advise you. Venues such as the London Aquatics Centre and The London Stadium charge for visits.

Does the Park Walk return to EAT and Stratford Station?
The Park Walk finishes at The Podium cafe in the Park. This is a short walk from Westfield shopping centre and Stratford Station.

How fast is the pace?
The walk goes at a gentle pace with frequent stops, suitable for any reasonably fit person.

Is the Park Walk suitable for children?
Absolutely. The Games in London were about inspiring a generation to participate in sport. The walk is fine for baby buggies.

Is the Park Walk accessible?
Yes, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is fully accessible. Stratford stations are fully accessible but you should check with Transport for London for others stations and interchanges that you maybe using for your journey.

What should I wear?
The walk is on pavements and footpaths. However you should wear comfortable shoes for walking.

What happens if it rains?
The Park Walk goes ahead whatever the weather, so please bring along an umbrella, raincoat, or suitable clothing for outdoors.

May we bring dogs?
Dogs are welcome on the walk, provided they are on a lead and kept under control.

What happens if I wish to book a large group?
It might well be worth hiring your own guide for a group or a family party at a time to suit you. Please contact us for details.

Is this a coach tour?
No, it’s a walking tour. Group travel organisers please contact us to discuss coach tours or coach and walking tours for your groups.
