THE Olympic Walk

A worldwide audience of 4 billion were glued to the TV all summer watching the heroics of the world’s greatest athletes as they competed in the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Now we all have new sporting heroes.
But it’s not over yet. Come and witness the final stage – the Legacy.
- Watch the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park being transformed into legacy mode
- Pass by the studio where Danny Boyle worked on the celebrated Opening Ceremony
- Learn why the Park won’t begin to open to the public until summer 2013
- See the venues as they are rebuilt to make them suitable for long-term use
- Walk past historic water mills, cleaned up waterways and new developments to see how the Olympics have already transformed parts of Newham
- Witness the final stage as we show you the best views from the perimeter fence and other viewing points
- Hear the story from a professional who can offer intimate and personal knowledge of the project
